The Maresme delegation of the FCF celebrated its Night of Champions 2026 at the Santa Susanna Pavilion with a total of 62 winning teams
The delegation of the Catalan Football Federation in the Maresme held a new edition of the Night of Champions on Friday, June 19, 2026. The Santa Susanna Pavilion was decorated to host the trophy ceremony for the champions of the 2025-2026 season.
A total of 62 football and futsal teams were awarded at the event, after winning the league title this year. In addition, 2 Special Prizes and 7 Fair Play Awards were also given to the teams with the fewest yellow cards throughout the season.
The chosen venue was filled to the brim to enjoy this festive day.
Special Prizes
During the night of the champions, two Special Awards were presented, which are recognitions dedicated to distinguishing people and entities that, with their trajectory and commitment, have left their mark on the history of Catalan football and indoor football.
The first was for Marc Alcaraz Carmona, a Sinera United player, who a few months ago was diagnosed with Perthes disease, a little-known disease that left him without football overnight. However, he has not abandoned his love and dedication to this sport.
The second Special Prize of the night went to Antonio Caballero Zamora. Antonio, who has been linked for 35 years to the Technical Committee of Referees of the Maresme, and in the last 9 years he has been in charge of the delegation, is retiring this year. There are many hours of dedication and responsibility that have been recognized with an award and a heartfelt applause at the Santa Susanna Pavilion.
Federation assistance
The FCF delegate in Maresme, Mohamed El Gadaoui Alsina, participated in the Night of Champions in which he congratulated all the champion teams after a successful season, and also wanted to highlight the role of families and coaching staff throughout the sports season. In the same way, the delegate of the Maresme also thanked the Santa Susanna City Council for the facilities to have the Santa Susanna Pavilion in order to celebrate the successes of the champions of the 2025-2026 season.
The federation representation at the event also included the director of the CTA, Xavi Moreno; the head of futsal in the Maresme, Joan Serra; the sub-delegate of the Maresme, María Ramos; the head of women's football in the Maresme, Mònica Olivares; and the head of the CTAFS in the Maresme, Víctor Pasamontes.
At the Night of the Champions of the Maresme there was also political representation, formed by the Deputy of Barcelona, Josep Triadó; the Mayor of Santa Susanna, Joan Campolier; and the Councilor for Sports of Santa Susanna, Joan Solà.
At the Night of the Maresme Champions, 7 Fair Play Awards were also presented, the federative awards that aim to promote and reward respectful and non-violent practice on the pitches. The winners are those teams that have played a cleaner game during the 2025-2026 season and, therefore, have received a lower number of cards. In men's categories, the First, Second, Third and Fourth Catalan Divisions benefit, while in women's categories they are the Women's Preferential, First and Second Division.
