The third edition of this event will be held between June 19 and 21 and will start and finish in our town

Santa Susanna will host the first stage of the women's Volta Ciclista a Catalunya in 2026, which will be held from 19 to 21 June. The presentation of this sports competition was made yesterday at the Atrium theater in Viladecans in the presence of the Minister of Sports of the Generalitat, Beni Álvarez, the mayor of Santa Susanna, Joan Campolier, among others. The president of the Vuelta, Rubèn Peris, and the person in charge of the women's race, Patrícia Ortega, were in charge of explaining all the details.

Santa Susanna will star in the start and finish of the first stage of the Women's Tour, of 92 kilometers and which has two scoring mountain passes on its route, the Corredor and the Montnegre.   

The women's Cycling Tour of Catalonia, with only two editions, has managed to consolidate itself at national, national and international level. The municipality thus inscribes its name in the Book of Honour of the race, since until now it had never been the protagonist of a stage. The media coverage of the Volta will make the world aware of the virtues of Santa Susanna as a cycling destination, which has competitive infrastructures, a privileged environment and a commitment to sustainable tourism.
