The Dakar 2026 arrives in Santa Susanna with the best drivers of the event to present the vehicles that will compete in the rally

Isidre Esteve, Nani Roma, Laia Sanz and Nandu Jubany, among others, will come on Saturday, November 29 to the administrative and technical checks of motorcycles, cars and trucks, a mandatory step before the start of the race.

The Torrentó de Can Gelat will be the stage where from 27 to 30 November the vehicles (motorcycles, cars and trucks) that will participate in the Dakar 2026 will be exhibited. The toughest race in the world will be held from January 3 to 17 in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Before the vehicles are embarked to go, the Dakar organization checks that everything is correct, equipment and vehicles. This is what is called the administrative and technical verification of vehicles. This step of the Dakar will take place in Santa Susanna.

Around 1,400 vehicles will go to the municipality, the 325 that are registered (118 motorcycles and 207 cars and trucks) plus the organization's vehicles and those of replacement in case of breakdowns. On Saturday, November 29 at 12 noon, some of the best drivers of the moment will also come, such as Isidre Esteve, Nani Roma, Laia Sanz, Gerard Farrés, Nandu Jubany, Pau Navarro, Lucas Cruz, Carlos Santaolalla, Josep Pedro Subirats, Lorenzo Santolino, Javi Vega, Jordi Juvanteny and Miguel Puertas, and the race director, David Castera.

It is an event open to the public who will be able to see and almost touch the vehicles that from January will cross the inhospitable deserts of Saudi Arabia. This event once again puts Santa Susanna at the epicenter of sport and elite sports tourism at an international level.
