More than 60 participants from the United Kingdom, USA, Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, Slovakia and the Netherlands have sought the right fit to bring events related to meeting and sports tourism to our country

Santa Susanna has been the scene this Monday, October 27, of the MICE & Sports Showcase, a professional event organized by the company FC Sport Experiences of the United Kingdom with the support of the Catalan Tourism Agency and the Catalunya Convention Bureau. The meeting was held at the Hotel Atzavara & Spa and served as a meeting point for operators and event organizers in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) and sports fields.

The event was attended by more than 60 companies from, among others, the United Kingdom, the United States, Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, Slovakia and the Netherlands.

The Santa Susanna City Council has participated with an agenda of 17 meetings with specialized agencies to publicize the assets and resources of the municipality; accommodation specialising in cycling and conferences, multipurpose spaces, sports facilities and the natural environment of the sea and mountains, among others.

At the official welcome ceremony, Mayor Joan Campolier thanked that the meeting was held in Santa Susanna. And he added: "They have not made a mistake by coming here. I have to tell you that you have made the best choice by locating this meeting in our town. We have a long experience in meetings and sports tourism, we have infrastructure and we have an extensive experience in this field".
