The programme gains in quality, in activities linked to the performing arts that complement the proposal and in colloquiums with members of the companies to delve deeper into the works.
The ninth edition of the Micròmetre Theatre Festival will be held in Santa Susanna on 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 September. Seven days of theatre, music, debates and gastronomy around the performing arts of a Micrometer that grows in quality and innovative proposals. As the mayor of Santa Susanna, Joan Campolier, said during the presentation of the program: "It is a proposal made with desire, enthusiasm and effort". The festival is organized by the City Council and LaGuàrdia Produccions. The first show of this Micrometer was made during this presentation on May 31, at the Civic Center. It was the play "Cadires", by Mont Plans and Oriol Genís Dramaturgia directed by Albert Arribas.
Among the well-known faces that will come to Santa Susanna at the Micròmetre Festival are the actors David Verdaguer, Ramon Madaula and Jordi Boixaderas, and the playwright and director Sergi Belbel. The novelties of the festival are specified in a new proposal called "La previ del Micròmetre" which consists of two colloquiums with the presence of members of the theater companies and the expansion of the program of La Cleda, the cultural and gastronomic space of the Micròmetre.
