The performances of the 13 international companies that have participated in the Gresca! have had the ability to attract audiences from all over Catalonia
Circus, theater and music have been the masters of the streets of Santa Susanna during the weekend of April 26 and 27, in the first edition of the Gresca! More than 2000 people, many from Santa Susanna and many from all over Catalonia, have gathered around the 13 shows, which have delighted the youngest and the oldest.
The poster of the first circus festival of Santa Susanna has been attractive enough to get the public to respond positively with its presence. In fact, the range of artists has been very wide, as have the origins of the companies he has performed: England, Argentina, Catalonia, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Uruguay and Chile. The stages of the festival have been the Colomer Park and the Town Hall square.
With this first festival Gresca! of itinerant arts, Santa Susanna also wants to become a benchmark for circus, street theater and music.
The festival Gresca! is organized by the City Council and Bucraá Circus, a Catalan clown and gestural theater company founded in 2018 that is based in Santa Susanna. Bucraá Circus has been recognized for its shows El Gran Final and Punch!, which have triumphed at festivals around the world.
They have collaborated in the organization of the Gresca! the Plan for the Promotion of the Circus, Circus Municipalities, the Trapeze Fair of Reus and its City Council, the Association of Circus Professionals of Catalonia (APCC), the Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies (ICEC) of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Barcelona Provincial Council.
