Santa Susanna announces a new edition of the Bike Show for May 10 and 11. The municipality is once again hosting this cycling festival, which will once again feature cycling activities for all audiences. The weekend will once again be an interesting compilation of proposals that will meet the needs of both beginner and professional amateurs. The little ones will also have their space and will become one of the great protagonists.
The Santa Susanna Bike Show will begin on Saturday, May 10 with a gravel match. The fashionable cycling discipline will follow a route designed to link paths and tracks, which will allow participants to discover the natural wealth that surrounds the town. It is a fun and casual outing suitable for all those who want to enjoy cycling away from the competition.
Then it will be the turn of the Ebike Day, an equally popular and tenth meeting focused on all electric bicycle users. The start will have two routes: on the one hand, the basic route will be ideal for those who prefer the comfort and pleasure of pedaling along a quiet route; On the other hand, the technical route will be suitable for those who spend it on a long road on roads where they must show off their skills on the bike.
Saturday morning will advance with the Super Cup Youth. It will then be the time for the youngest cyclists, who will be able to feel the excitement and joy of being part of a competition that, above all, wants to promote cycling through the values of sport. The races will have different durations depending on the age of the participants, who will experience a beautiful day outdoors.
At 1:00 p.m. there will be a new popular ride; An activity that serves to encourage the use of bicycles from an undemanding route and with the involvement of the smallest cyclists in the municipality.
The day will end with a portion of high-competition cycling, with the arrival of the Biking Point International Catalan MTB Cup. Santa Susanna will be the fourth stop on the calendar and is expected to be an essential event for runners who aspire to the general classification. The race, which will start at 4:00 p.m., will have the particularity of being in a time trial format.
On Sunday, the highlight of the weekend will arrive with a race of the Shimano Super Cup Massi. The event is one of the championships that distributes the most UCI points from all over the world and some of the big names in the discipline are expected to attend. The morning will be full of races, which will culminate with the final awards ceremony at 2:00 p.m., and which will serve to put an end to a new edition of the Santa Susanna Bike Show.
